Personality: Katyusha is a double-edged sword. On one side, you have the strong, strict duchess who strives for perfection and the upkeeping of rules and laws. On the other, you have the intelligent, cunning vampiress who carries herself the utmst sophistication, grace, and poise. A Purebred Lady of the highest calibur, not only does she know her place and role as the sole heir to the Russian Vampire Empire, she is also a cutthroat negotiator and huntress, a force to be reckoned with.
There is another side to her, that only family and close friends ahve ever seen. Katyusha can be kind and funloving, but she's especially michievous. Parties are a particular activity she enjoys the most, and she's not afraid to dance with whomever she wants, or to do whatever she wants to them. Sex to her is nothing more than another tool of manipulation, however she had been forced to take a vow of celibacy when she came of age, which she abhors.
History: Needless to say, katyusha was born inot extreme wealth. Silver spoon and everything that includes. She was given the best education and the strictest training as the sole heir to the Russian vampiric empire. The most refined lady, she was let into politics at a young age, and became a skilled negotiator and a persuading seductress. It's no wonder the Tzaritsa and Tzar never bothered with trying for another child.
She was given many luxuries but she was not spoiled. However, a favorite pasttime of hers, and a small weakness, is going to vampire clubs and parties. Not just your run-of-the-mill cages and body bar, but full out orgies and sex with whomever and whereever you want. And with bodies choked full of drugs and/or alcohol for that extra strong high and pleasure lust. These were never banned from her, in fact her parents were regulars at such functions. Unfortunately, they became nonexistant for her once she became of age, for they didn't want her getting needlessly pregnant without a spouse to take the throne with her.
So now Katyusha had to content to be manipulative and conniving with it came to business matter and hunting, of course. And she was constantly faced with finding a spouse, the palace constantly flooded with suitors whenever there was a ball. Relief came in the form of a very distant cousin, belonging to a rival family connected through marriage. It suited that the two became friends in the midst of peace negotiations, despite the young woman not being vampiri. For two years the two spent time together, learning from each other, the younger getting her education while there.
Time finally came for the young woman to return to her home, her family, her problems, and Dusk. Luckily for her, backup in the form of Katyusha came soon after.
